Mointeach a’ Bhraighe

This project is is the third peatland restoration project on the Braemore Estate. It lies on a plateau between Strath More and Gleann na Sguaib, just north of Beinn Enaiglair. The site has a large number of haggs but rather than being concentrated in hagg systems they are dispersed across the whole area. Restoration will focus on the reprofiling of these haggs as well as blocking any gullies with peat dams.
